Travelers Can Earn Frequent Flyer Miles, Hotel Points when they Park, Shop or Dine at the Airport
BALTIMORE, August 1, 2014 – Travelers at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall) can now earn frequent flyer miles or hotel points just for parking, shopping or dining at the airport thanks to a recently launched loyalty and rewards program called Thanks Again. BWI Marshall is the first airport in the region to offer the free customer rewards program.
Enrollment is fast and easy. Airport employees and passengers may register any credit or debit card at www.thanksagain.com/BWI and link those cards to the rewards programs they already participate in, such as Southwest Airlines Rapids Rewards® or Hilton HHonors™ Rewards. Using those credit or debit cards for purchases at participating shops and restaurants at the AIRMALL at BWI Marshall earns members one mile or two hotel points for every dollar spent.
“We’re pleased to further our commitment to enhancing the traveler experience by offering another great reason to shop and dine at the AIRMALL at BWI Marshall,” said Brett Kelly, vice president of AIRMALL Maryland. “The Thanks Again customer rewards program is a great way for us to show our appreciation for travelers and airport employees alike.”
The BWI Marshall Airport website also provides a link for employees or passengers to register for the program at bwiairport.com/en/service/thanksagain. That link includes a QR code that can be scanned to enroll and earn 100 bonus airline miles or 200 bonus hotel points. More than 100 airports nationwide participate in the Thanks Again program, along with thousands of local businesses.
“We think the initiative is a great way to reward and thank our travelers for their loyalty,” said Paul J. Wiedefeld, chief executive officer of BWI Marshall. “Thanks Again is a new way to enhance the customer experience at BWI Marshall and for travelers to earn points or miles before their flight even departs.”
