Four New Units Include Unique Products and Services, Wine and Café Offerings
BOSTON, September 30, 2010 – For travelers looking to stay connected with their busy lives – and for those who want a moment to disconnect – the AIRMALL® at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is offering a host of new retail and dining options. AIRMALL USA, developer of the AIRMALL® at BOS, recently welcomed the following retail and dining units to the airport’s concessions program, all located in Terminal B:
- Blackberry from Wireless Giant offers access to multiple cellular carriers as well as the newest devices available. This combination enables customers to compare plans and phones side by side.
- Brookstone is a specialty retailer offering an assortment of consumer products that are functional in purpose and not widely available from other retailers. Customers are encouraged to try products for true hands-on shopping.
- Illy is a lively, warm and hospitable café modeled after the old-world coffee bars of Italian culture. The idea behind Illy is to create an area where entertainment and creativity find the ideal setting.
- Vinea is a full-service restaurant offering a tasteful combination of your local favorites and an international twist of flavors with a wide range of wines and spirits from around the world.
“The addition of Blackberry from Wireless Giant and Brookstone has significantly enhanced our retail offerings at the AIRMALL® at BOS, especially in the highly popular electronics market,” said Mike Caro, vice president of the AIRMALL® at BOS. “On the dining side, Illy and Vinea are now central to the mix of food and beverage options for BOS travelers, giving people the perfect place to relax, enjoy a terrific meal, or sip a steaming cup of coffee.”
AIRMALL USA currently manages and develops the retail concessions program for Boston Logan International Airport in terminals B and E, which represents a total of 90,000 square feet of retail concession space. The AIRMALL at BOS includes more than 35 restaurants and bars, nearly 20 specialty retail units, 13 news & gift stores and a host of other services.
“Whether they’re looking for a smart gadget or a relaxing meal, travelers can shop and dine at the AIRMALL at BOS knowing they’ll pay ‘Regular Mall Prices…Guaranteed,’” Caro added.
