Unique New Concept Offers BWI Travelers a Place to Unwind
BALTIMORE, May 23, 2011 – AIRMALL® USA, the leading airport concessions developer in North America and operator of the AIRMALL at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), is pleased to announce the arrival of Airspace Lounge at BWI. This new concept is the first large-scale airport lounge network in the U.S. open to any passenger flying on any airline. Open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Airspace Lounge is located on Concourse D.
“Airspace Lounge is a unique concept that is re-defining the airport experience,” said Brett Kelly, vice president of AIRMALL Maryland. “We’re pleased to provide passengers at BWI with this first-of-its kind offering. The addition of Airspace Lounge is just another example of how AIRMALL is always working to enhance the passenger experience.”
Airspace Lounge is a comfortable post-security space separate from the airport concourse where passengers can relax, enjoy extensive complimentary food and beverage offerings and even catch up on work. Unlike many airline clubs that have restrictive entry policies and high prices, Airspace Lounge is open to any passenger flying on any airline.
Designed to help travelers unwind close to their gate, day passes for Airspace Lounge start at $17.50 and monthly memberships will be available in the future.
