Starbucks, Vino Volo, Knickers Open at Pittsburgh International Airport
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 11, 2015 – Travelers at the AIRMALL in Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) can enjoy an even greater array of dining and shopping options with the recent arrivals of Vino Volo, Knickers, and soon, Starbucks.
“We strive to offer travelers a variety of fantastic options to make the traveling experience more enjoyable,” said Jay Kruisselbrink, senior vice president of AIRMALL USA. “These new additions continue to establish the AIRMALL as a great shopping destination.”
The new AIRMALL openings include:
- Starbucks will open a permanent (1278 sf) airside location and a temporary (500 sf) kiosk landside the week of Christmas, making it the coffee chain’s first appearance at PIT. The permanent landside store in the center of baggage claim will open the end of the first quarter of 2016.
- Vino Volo (979 sf), a boutique wine bar known for its tasting flights and in-house sommeliers, welcomed its first customers with a champagne toast in its new Concourse B location.
- Knickers (734 sf), an exclusive shop specializing in men’s and women’s underwear from Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, is now open in the Center Core.
