Craft cocktail lounge/restaurant in landside terminal welcomes guests
PITTSBURGH – With the opening of the second Martini location at Pittsburgh International Airport, non-ticketed guests can also enjoy a delicious bite or brew from the airport’s trendy cocktail lounge. The 2,600-square-foot bar restaurant, located in the landside terminal, seats up to 100 in a modern, dynamic space.
“Airside, Martini has become popular among travelers for its tempting cocktails and creative fare in a setting that reintroduces style to the traveling experience,” said Bob Kerlik, vice president of media relations. “A new landside location means travelers can have dinner with their friends and family who are seeing them off or greeting them at the airport. It’s one of several new additions landside, including Starbucks in baggage claim.”
For dining, Martini offers an array of small plates, soups and salads, and starters ranging from hummus with toasted pita and fresh-cut veggies to smoked chicken wings and short rib sliders. Sandwiches include grilled chicken on a pretzel bun, barbacoa burritos and chicken Caesar wraps. Assorted flatbreads round out the fare.
For drinks, Martini signature cocktails are seasoned with Pittsburgh flair like The 412, Paris of Appalachia and Three Rivers Sangria. Classic concoctions like the Hemingway Daiquiri, Mint Julep and Moscow Mule evoke the classic luxury of air travel.
