Locally owned smoothie bar inspiring healthy, active lifestyles now open in Concourse D
BALTIMORE, Dec. 21, 2016 – AIRMALL at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall) continues its commitment to inspiring a healthy, active lifestyle with the addition of a Smoothie King in Concourse D.
“AIRMALL wants to make sure that it’s easier than ever for travelers to incorporate healthy habits without having to leave their personal wellness goals at home,” said Brett Kelly, vice president of AIRMALL Maryland. “The new Smoothie King allows passengers to grab a healthy smoothie or snack while on the go.”
Smoothie King (480 sq. ft.) offers a full menu of “Smoothies With A Purpose™,” including fitness blends, slim blends, wellness blends, take a break blends and kids’ cups all expertly blended from fruits, veggies, nuts and protein to meet each customer’s individual health goals. Travelers can also choose from an assortment of tasty, nutritious snacks ranging from veggie and banana chips to protein bars, cookies and muffins.
The Concourse D store is the second Smoothie King owned by local operator Tisha Skinner, who started with the company in 2006. Ms. Skinner was drawn to Smoothie King by the company’s mission of inspiring people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
