Week of activities at airport celebrate community pride, Sept. 19-22
WHAT: Fraport USA invites travelers to Celebrate Cleveland, a week of fun activities, live entertainment, special guests and tasty treats for travelers at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) to discover the region’s unique flavor and flair.
WHEN: The activities scheduled for Celebrate Cleveland 2017 include:
- Tuesday, Sept. 19: The festivities will begin at 2 p.m. as Slider, the Cleveland Indians’ mascot, walks the concourse handing out Malley’s chocolate bars while supplies last.
- Wednesday, Sept. 20: From noon to 4 p.m. in concourses A and B, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s popular traveling Professor Wylde’s show will educate and entertain passengers about the zoo’s animals, their care, training and status in the wild.
- Thursday, Sept. 21: Cleveland’s own Singing Angels, a group of 20 talented young singers, will perform from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 22: The week will conclude with a Mitchell’s Ice Cream social from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
